I awoke to a man standing over my bed
He looked me dead in the eye, cleared his throat and said
Come with me to repay that favour
You sold your soul, you lost it in a wager
(missing words)
A game of cards dealt with death in each hand
You remember now, don't you kid?
Your time has come and here we stand
And to think i had fucking shaken you off
Only to have you come back and fucking drag me down with you
But still I don't sweat it
I grin and fucking bear it
Keep to my own but still gotta ask myself
What the fuck you're looking at
I felt the breath of death on my neck
Hell bent on being hell bent
Greet the reaper
Cold hands
Unwelcome
But not a doubt in my mind
I'm an impostor inside my very skin
Rejected from my flesh and told never to return again
I always fell apart faster
Than the day would end
My soul a malevolent bastard
I chose to let death in

Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
